This page summarises how cancellations, returns and refunds work when you buy an artwork from kimwitcher.com. Full delivery information is on the Delivery & Returns page. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by anything on this page.
Cancelling your order
If you buy an artwork online as a consumer, you generally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving it. To cancel, please email kim@kimwitcher.com within those 14 days. You will then normally have a further 14 days to return the artwork.
Returning an artwork
Artwork must be returned safely and securely packaged. Many pieces are fragile and individually made, so I strongly recommend protective packaging and a tracked delivery service. Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described, you may be responsible for the cost of returning it. Please handle the artwork with reasonable care while it is in your possession. A return address will be issued on acceptance to the returned item
Refunds
Where a valid cancellation is made, I will refund you in accordance with consumer law. This will normally include the cost of the standard delivery option you paid for. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional cost may not be refundable. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the artwork back, or of receiving proof that you have sent it back. If an artwork is returned in a condition showing it has been handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it, I may be entitled to make a deduction from the refund where the law permits.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed artwork
If an artwork arrives faulty or damaged, or is not as described, please contact me as soon as possible at kim@kimwitcher.com with your order details and photographs of the artwork and packaging. I will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy. Your statutory rights apply to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
Made-to-order or personalised artwork
Where an artwork is created to your individual requirements or personalised at your request, the 14-day cancellation right may not apply. If so, this will be made clear to you before you place the order.
Exchanges
Many artworks are unique or limited pieces, so exchanges may not always be possible. If you would like to discuss one, please email kim@kimwitcher.com and I will consider it based on the individual artwork and circumstances.
