This handmade Parian vessel gathers a whole garden into a single sphere — bloom pressed against bloom, an exuberant profusion of flowers in the fullness of high summer.
The surface disappears entirely beneath layer upon layer of hand-modelled blossom: waterlilies unfurl petal by petal, their crowded centres finely detailed, each flower distinct yet folded into the mass of its neighbours. A domed lid crowned with a sculpted seed-head lifts away, revealing the vessel’s purpose beneath its flowering skin. Worked in unglazed Parian, the whole carries the soft, chalk-white bloom — matte, tactile and gently luminous.
Each is shaped entirely by the maker’s hand, and no two are ever alike.
